$13 Billion nuclear fusion site is on its way

This project is funded by: Japan, The United States, South Korea, Russia, China and the European Union. The plan is to build a experimental nuclear fussion site. Which after some debate will be built in France. If this is successful it could provide cleaner and abundant energy. There will be some radioactive waste how ever. It is going to take at least 10 years to build and this is only experimental it would be at least 50 years before a commercial one was up and running. Fussion is different from fission. We have fission already they are the normal nuclear powerplants. Fission is spliting atoms. Fussion is joining them together. Fussions can provide a lot more engery if it can be harnessed. We will just have to wait and see if they can successfuly do it.
