The L is getting an upgrade

Ok, I have finally had enough with Blogger, which is the software that I am currently using to post news articles. I am going to switch to a open source content management system, Cutenews. Yeah I know the name is not that great but it works a lot better then Blogger. So it is going to take me some time to get this new software integrated with The L and for me to get familiar with how it works. This means that there will not be any new news for at least a week. In a week I should have everything working and things will go back to normal.

Just to give every one a heads up of what I plan on doing with The L. I plan on getting rid of Google, security, and the articles section. I will be adding a big section to take these sections place some time this year.

Digg source code ... 959595 what?

If you go to Digg and view the page source, right away you see a comment that says digg is up 959595, now that's all it says. What does that number mean? Is that how many stories have been submitted to digg. I think that is the most likely answer. However it could mean something else. Maybe it is just a insider joke, that none of us would get. Who knows!

Digg Integration

The L is going to start to integrate Digg into its news and articles. Digg is a social book marking site, for technology news. Those of you who are members to digg, will be able to click on a "digg this" button (located at the bottom of the article) and be taken to the digg page. Where you can then digg the story or comment on it. If a article does not have a digg this button, then feel free to submit the article to digg yourself.
